Upon arrival at the JRO meet your guide and drive to Arusha town, Arusha town is located on the northern part of Tanzania. The town is close to many national parks and the best of Tanzania’s fascination which is the highest peak in Africa the Mt. Kilimanjaro. It’s the city where the natives still practice their culture and these are the MAASAI. Your guide will drop you at the lodge booked for overnight.

After breakfast, depart to Tarangire National Park with your packed lunch. This park is rich in wildlife population, spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- like wildebeest, zebra, eland and buffalo migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River in search of water and the predators follow close by. After the game drive, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast with your picnic lunch drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi bordering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Meet indigenous tribe the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen) the tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. Visit their homesteads learn their cultures-animal tracking and medicinal plants. Flamingos are seen around the lake. After lunch depart from Lake Eyasi to Karatu.

06hrs breakfast, descend for a full day game drive with your packed lunch at the Ngorongoro Crater. There’s the volcanic caldera (the world’s largest), full of grassland and forest setting of jaw-dropping and water that supports thousands of wildlife. Ngorongoro is the home of the big five-the magnificent black manned lion, leopard, Bull Elephant and Black Rhino rarely seen. Later in afternoon drive to Arusha town for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, drive to Marangu gate on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, with your picnic lunch, climb to Mandara hut which takes 3 to 4hrs. Driving on good road with glorious views of Mt. Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro on clear mornings. After registration at the gate, short trek through the rain forest ,enjoy the mountain as you climb slowly to Mandara hut. Hike back to the gate and drive back to Arusha or drive straight to JRO to catch your flight.
