Lake Manyara National Park lies in a very dramatic setting up against the steep western wall of the rift valley. Being directly en route to Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha or Tarangire, it is a popular area for a day trip. It can be visited all year around, although the most popular times are during the two dry seasons that is June – October and January and February. ARUSHA TOWN TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

0630hrs depart Arusha to Manyara National Park. The Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. Mammals found in Manyara including Elephant, Buffalo, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe and baboon troupes. Lions rest up on trees during the hot day with lower branches of trees escaping flies. Evening drive back to Arusha.

25% payment non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost upon confirmation of the safari and the balance 30 days prior to the arrival for clients to safeguard the booking.
Reservations will be cancelled if the final payment is not received by the due date with full loss of deposit. There is no refund of any unused portion of your safari once commenced. Cancellation penalties on Airfare are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges. All cancellation must made in writing to Thorn Wildlife Experience:

Climate

Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.

Remember to take your Malaria medication and protect yourself from sun with sunscreen or safari hat. Yellow fever vaccination can be acquired at the airport upon your arrival
Heavy cloth are important for early morning activities during your safari
