After your early wake-up call and breakfast meet your guide for safari briefing, then drive to Tarangire National Park with your picnic lunch. During the dry season the park becomes a haven for many migratory species and this is the best time to see animals as they cluster around various water sources. Many herds of elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, impala, gazelle and eland feast on the green shoots. Evening check in in a lodge / hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight Osupuko lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. The high walls of the crater itself, serve as a natural enclosure for an abundance of wildlife. Among the notable birds are Egyptian Vulture, which make their home in the highest of the crater wall, Greater Flamingos which are spasmodic visitors to the crater lakes. Spend the whole day on the floor of the crater with picnic lunch. Later in the evening ascend and drive to the lodge before dark check in to the lodge for freshen up, dinner and overnight Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge
After breakfast with picnic lunches start a drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a half day game drive. Crusty white deposits of soda glitter like diamonds around the water's edge and the water appears almost soapy in texture due to the concentrated minerals. However, the water is not too salty for animals to drink, and hippos happily make their home in these waters. In the afternoon enjoy your lunch at the picnic site within the park, after lunch drive back to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar OR catch your flight back home
